MAKING DISCIPLES IN
AND OUT OF PRISON
SERMONS & VIDEOS
VISION & MISSION
It doesn't matter where you started.
It matters how you finish.
Disciple Maker exists to carry the hope of Jesus into correctional facilities, jails, and hard places, the kind of places Kelly understands from the inside.
Kelly grew up with a father in and out of prison, in a home shaped by instability and addiction. At fifteen, an unexpected conversation outside a donut shop changed the direction of his life.
Through Disciple Maker, Kelly:
Leads chapel services at local county correctional facilities in Utah
Shares the gospel and disciples men through one-on-one and group settings
Distributes accessible Bible translations to men who want to read Scripture
Creates resources designed for men without easy access to a church or study materials
Develops and onboards volunteers to serve alongside us in chaplaincy ministry
Meet the Founder
Kelly McCoy is a Christian chaplain, communicator, and ministry leader based in Utah. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Biola University and a Master's in Apologetics from Talbot Seminary, and has spent more than a decade equipping people with the critical thinking skills and biblical foundation they need to navigate life's hardest questions -- creation, meaning, morality, and what happens when we die.
Kelly is also the founder of Disciple Maker Ministry, where he leads chapel services at county correctional facilities, disciples incarcerated men, and develops volunteers for chaplaincy work.
His YouTube channel (12,000+ subscribers) features biblical commentary, live Bible studies, and honest Q&As on faith, scripture, and current events. He recently authored "Rewritten," a 70-day devotional journal written specifically for men in correctional facilities.
DONATE TO THE MISSION
Your partnership makes it possible for men behind bars to hear the gospel, receive Scripture, and grow as disciples. If God is stirring something in you, we'd love to connect.
